Curtis Ice Canrnival Weekend

Looking to get a list of people who are heading up to Curtis President's weekend. I have been heading up there the past 5 years and it is a good time. Not much luck with the fishing though. Anybody have any great tips on where to go on the Big Lake or South Lake?

I'm going to the UP 200 that weekend. But am thinking of going to curtis for the fireworks saturday night.

Will be up there 14th-18th. Staying on Big Lake at the Manilak Resorts. NW corner of the lake.

Try Round Lake on the far west side in 15-20 foot of water for perch. The main lake on the east side, just north of the island for eyes. Let us know how you do.

Thanks for the help on the locations blueupm. If you don't mind asking, what is the best method for catching the eyes?Like I said before, we have been up there the past few years, but have caught many more hangovers than fish and I think it is time for a change.
