A clown color sceme over a holographic or shiner rapala?If so how did it turn out and can you post a pic of the lure?

I think most of the holographic lures are tapes.Hagens has the tape in there books.

Go buy some Challengers, in clown pattern. I've been using Challengers since they came out, and catch just as many fish as Rapalas.
