Big Manistique Lake- Curtis Ice Festival

Times getting close to the yearly Curtis Ice Festival and was wondering how the walleye/perch reports are on the Big Lake? I heard the ice is approx. 18-20 inches. Is there any snow on the ice and if so, how much snow? Thanks in advance..

The lake couldn't be better for getting around on. Maybe 2-3 inches of snow in most spots. If I can find a place to get on, I'm bringing my pickup next time I go. The fishing is spotty, on day okay then the next day nothing. Overall this winter it's been okay, but should turn on any day if it's like the last 3 winters.
