Hows the ice over there? I've never been there but I'm looking for a spot to try this week where it's not a long walk because my Dad is 62 and we certainly don't want any soft ice. Thanks - Bryon

There were a couple guys out today, said there was a lot of top water but ice was good underneath about 5"

The walk out our canal is not too bad maybe 100-200yds
We have a ladder that gets you on and off plus we will help you with your gear.

I was wondering the same thing. I thought I read in another post that he said he was trying to secure some property down the street where you could park and drive/walk right out onto the ice.

Any word on that Jimmy??

To print out card, go to user control panel, then Paid Subscriptions. If you are a supporting member you will see a card there that will print out.

At our location it might be hard the way the ice is to get a machine on the ice. The lot where everyone parks you could techincally ride down the back of the property but then you would have to go under the bridge to get out to the lake.

But the lot we have for $3 parking just over the Spillway Bridge will definetly accomodate any machines and get you right on the lake. The lot was an old boat launch back in the good old day so at the end of the property a couple guys said it was a little bumpy but accessable for sure. It gets you right out on the lake and from there you can go back to the mouth of the spillway or anywhere you want depending how good the ice is.

Went out of Jimmy's last Saturday and had a good time fishing, will be going back this Saturday to hunt for the jumbos's under the ice. We took about a dozen nice ones home last Saturday. Hopefully the fishing will be better this time. It's still fun to just get out and fish the "HARDWATER".
