advice on adding a bench seat to alum boat

I'm looking for advice on how to mount a bench type seat into my Johnboat. Right now it only has the one bench seat in the back and is open up to the bow.

My game plan was to use a 2 x 10 or 2 x 12 for the seat? Its the mounting points at the sides of the boat that have me concerned. Is there anyone out there that makes brackets to do this? I was thinking about maybe using angle iron and then just bending it a little to fit the angle of the boat/seat. Also this boat has a 60" beam so I'm worried that the seat may have to much flex in the middle without some kind of bracng?

Any ideas or if anyone has done it before and has any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

your idea sounds good with the angle iron through bolted, but add a 2x4 under the seat on edge and screw down through the 2x12 or 10 and that would add strenght and it would not bow or flex
