Close but no Cigar

Fished Anchor bay yesterday and ended with 21 perch, 2 blue gill and what I thought was a Master Angler Rock Bass. Well when I went and had it measured and weighed today it was 11.2inches and .9lbs. I missed master angler by .1lbs, that would have been my first one. I'll post pictures later.

If you would have weighed it yesterday it probly would have been a master angler. Fish will lose weight when out of the water and dead for a period of time

damn that's all a master angler is for rockies? I had one two years ago off shore in st.clair I got that was 13inches and fat while walleye fishing, I had no idea....oh well. At least you got some fish, thanks for the report - Bryon

I know a place in the spring where I can catch master angler size rockbass all day long.
