Went out from St. Lukes..Moved around all day..Finally found fish about 1 1/2 to 2 miles out just north of tower.....8 ft. of water biggest was 13 inches. seen minnow soakers slamming jumbies big time...The fish where there but with the vexlar it seemed they would just shut off and lay on bottom...Then all of a sudden the would wake up....I left at 4:00 pm and should of stayed because I know they started just before dark. Silver spoons with red bead was best. Ice was 8 to 10 inchs. We seen no holes or cracks...

Seen a couple of crazy guys out probley 7 miles at least....I don't know but there is some dumb people in this world....:dizzy:

Mushy i dont know if bashing your friends is gonna help you get a job in sales....what do you say about clients? BTW the only way to roll is solo when it somes to the ice 2 up on a quad is dangerous think of that weight and the slower speed you have to go,might be the difference of skipping accros the crack or going in it.Just my 2 cents

Todd, didn't see any cracks? I was there on Saturday and crossed 3 pressure cracks, all within 3/4 of a mile from shore.

I fished Mitchells Bay saturday and sunday. Saturday was good in the 7 FOW but Sunday had me going out as far as 5 miles from Mitchells Bay ramp to find fish. Water was deep out there probably 15 feet or so. I caught well over my limit but kept 40 nice fish that were 8's to 10's with one big hog. Fishing sucked in close maybe because the sun was out or maybe it was the noise. I used a #5 firetiger rapala and it caught my fish both days. Saturday was good caught lots of nice fish, threw back 7 and 8's and kept the nicer ones. Ended up breaking my line on a nice fish, don't know what it was. It took my only firetiger I had on me that day. I ended up with 43 on saturday. I went out without a machine and managed to fish as far as the guys with the machines. Dip the net was out there both days he limited out both days with big fish, but I don't know exaclty where he fished. His buddies with him limited too with fish as big as 14 inches. He may have a pic of that one on here somewhere.
