I was looking at some lures on a sponsor of thise site called Salmo and found these.http://salmofishing.com/lures/sting.html
The lures are a bit on the pricy side but i believe they would work realy well on those eyes.Check out the clown color scheme.

Not a bad looking bait Stinger!! I'd wait till the Clown and perch patterns are available though !!

I have a couple of those ryan! Caught fish on them this past season....Back when we would Wall walk and cast for walleyes, all we used to use was the sinking Rebels.....we liked those better than the Rapalas because they would sink at a slower rate...so you could use a slower retrieve !!;)

Yeah i think the clown color pattern in that lure is awesome I`ll be picking some up when they are available forsure.
The rebel holographics while they catch fish it kind irritates me that they didnt continue the holographic finish on the underside of the lure.

I carry Salmo Lures also, if you're in the area.

The Walleye in Devil's Lake ND seem to like these lures!
They do alot of casting in the flooded timber out there with these lures.

I bought 2 of the 3.5" Rebel floaters in holographic clown this past weekend for $3.99 each at Lunkers in Edwardsburg Michigan.
SHOWN WITH RAPALA F9 CLOWN
http://www.michigan-sportsman.com/photopost/data/500/rebelclown-2.jpg

They were in a package with a label that stated it was their 40th Anniversary model. I am sure that they are the same lure as pictured. They are floaters and state so on the bill of the lure. (40 years ago they were not making suspending baits) They look identical to me.

The rebel holographics while they catch fish it kind irritates me that they didnt continue the holographic finish on the underside of the lure.

I just literally said the exact same thing to my wife last night, while watching the Superbowl, and organizing my tackle box. Those lures look great from the top and sides, but darn it, the fish probably see more of the bottom of the lure than anything. This is where the Rapala clown shines compared to some others, they are metallic all the way under the bottom of the lure.

I added a touch more red to the nose and face to more closely match a Rapala clown.

By the way, Lunkers has about a dozen #5 Floating Rapala Clowns for $6.00 each as well, but no 7s or 9s.

My website is all screwed up right now.

Let me know what colors you want, and I'll get them.
