I know numerous members on this site have float boats so I just thought I would pass this along.
I noticed on another site that someone posted a messages that they had left a bottle of bug spray in a pocket of their float boat. When they used it for the next trip they found the bug spray had leaked and reacted with the material of a tube and melted several holes in it.
Another poster followed by saying that "deet" in bug repellants can cause damage to flylines as well.
Anyways, maybe this is common knowledge to float boaters but I thought I would throw it out there.
