Wondering if anyone knows a site were I can download or view more detailed maps of inland lakes besides the DNR site. Maps that show structure, bottom and such.

I thought the majority of the DNR maps show topography, bottom composition, and structures.
I actually have the book that sarge posted a link to but always find myself going to the DNR site to get more definition and proper scale.

I have the sportsmans connection book and find that there are a lot of lakes in it that show boat launches that aren't there or show them in the wrong spot. Other than that i love the book and have my nose it all of the time!

While I too own a couple of Sportsman's Connection books - I like being able to see all the fish survey info, I've noticed some of what RyGuy posted. I also don't like that there isn't any sort of scale for the lakes (ie 1 in = 500 yds) which is why I go back to the DNR site for reference.

Too bad there are no lakes listed in southern michigan, its a good site though if you fish any of the lakes listed though.
