When it comes to jigs?
I always start with a white jig, pink dot, brass back.
I don't know why, but it's just the first one that always looks promising to me.
Just curious about other people's habits.

for bluegills I usually start out with a half moon shaped orange/yellow glow jig

For gills- It is always gold, then black.
I always go small first.

For gills and crappies I like jigs that are pure bright orange or
chartreuse, no silver.
Under lowlight or afterdark it's glow red and glow green.
My favorite is just the pure bright orange one overall.

1st set up is for low light conditions which is glow green and glow orange
2nd set up is for sunny days which is black and dark purple. I have always noticed that tiny black jigs are great on blue sky sunny days.
