I've been fishing in some good weed cover the last week and found a weakness in the M68C. It has trouble deciding where the bottom is and keeps cycling between it and some heavy weeds 2 -3' off the bottom.
I made several adjustments to sensitivity and colorline but I couldn't get it to show my jig and not cycle between two loud echos at the same time. It seemed like the microprocessor was getting confused and searching for the real bottom all the time. I'm sure this is where a low power mode would have helped.
I had to keep moving to find a spot that didn't have loud weed echos in order to have it work normally again.
