First Steel on the Pin

Fished the huron this weekend. This was my 2nd outing with my new pin.(fished once in ontario with it in terrible conditions) fished friday night for about an hour and lost one on the shelf ice. saturday i had better luck. i ended up 4/4 in 3 hours. today was terrible...fished most of the day and didnt even have a strike. i now love catching catching fish using my new pin... fighting the fish is a blast and you have so much more control. im glad i made this switch. anyways heres some pics of the fish.

it was a male(i cleaned it) if u look closely u can see the hooked jaw. i thought it was a female too until i took a closer look. i didnt want to keep him but i damaged his gill plate when i landed him and he was bleeding so there was no point in throwing him back. he got stuck on some shelf ice and i had to grab him a bit before i broke it loose. if not i would have been swimming.
