Just wonder how many consider solunar tables when planning their fishing. You have the good "shaded" days when it says those are good fishing days.

But what about the days when they are not shaded. Does that mean the bite is off, and therefore, you should maybe go smaller on your lures? Or maybe not even fish at all?

Just wondering what all think about them, are they accurate, or not, or how do you incorporate those days into your fishing plan (like the shaded days, maybe fish more aggressive lures? ).

I just fish whenever I get an opportunity. First thing you have to do is "find" the fish. Then try to make them bite. I dont base my already limited fishing time on any charts.

I always check it built in on my gps - never really see any difference in good or bad days. (right now we are in a bad/poor day phase) I always choose lures on the weather and place not the moon.

I pretty much go when I can but if I look at anything, it's pressure. If I have a choice of one day out of the weekend and all other things being equal, I'll take some dropping or in the 29's.

I never use them. I just get out on the ice and fish, then adjust my presentation to how the fish are reacting to it.

I plan my vacation days around solunar tables, but I go fishing as often as I can, I sure wouldn't stay home because its a quarter moon.

Moon phase has a lot to do with fish activity. That does not mean that you should not go fishing when its a quarter moon. There are periods of the day and night when fishing activity peaks according to the moons position. When the moon is at its highest point, its eastern most point, western most point and lowest point:dizzy: When those points come together with good weather and other right conditions the fishing is going to be good. But mostly I fish whenever I get the chance to no matter what the moon or barometer is.

I look at them and when the bite contradicts the lunar (http://www.espn.go.com/winnercomm/outdoors/bassmaster/ii/P2_g_lunar_08_at_01t.jpg) tables/prime times I tell the fish they need to get their shiit together and corporate.:D
