Gave my new Arctic Armor suit that I got from K&D a little test Fri and Sat on a local lake that is know for small gills. That suit pass the test with flying colors. I need to try it out again soon. As for the gills well the lake still has a lot of small gills. I did manage to get some for dinner. Boy were they good. Be careful out there. The ice was 2" in one spot. Most of the lake where I fish was 4"s. I was very supprise that I found 2".

Be cery careful, I slipped while testing my auger at home yesterday. I meet with the surgeon Monday morning. Never even made it to the lake. Cut tendons and artery amongst other damage, not pretty:mad:

What a bad ending to what you thought was going to great day out doors. I hope you recover quickly. It does prove however that no matter how much experience or how careful we are there are many dangers to beware of in all of our outdoor hobbies.:(

apparently we have smaller arteries in our body too. clipped the side of a smaller one in my ankle. The tendon is what the doc was worried about. I can move my foot and toes except when trying to pull upwards toward my shin.....Did not sleep too well......but on the bright side, I had the attention of two of Frasers prettiest police women and paramedics.

Man, I'm sorry to hear that. Your going to have a lot of fun stretching that tendon back out after it heals. I cut a tendon in my finger years ago. Everytime I reached for a pole while fishing I felt it. I don't envy you. Take care of yourself.
