I wish, we ended up getting skunked. We did get out kind of lake but still spent about 5 hrs on the ice. Fished with deputy865 for the first time.

But on a good note the first spot we fished had 9" of black/clear ice. Second spot had about 7". Most ice i have been on all season

It was SLOW but fun day. Luckily deputy isnt a big guy or we'd have never fit all 3 of us in the shanty.

Joslin lake almost always has awesome ice on it. I've got a cottage on that lake. There's a lot of gills, perch, and bass in it. It's also got pike. I like to go to South lake just about 1/2 mile down the road because its got bigger fish.

i spent 5hrs out there today. nothing in the bucket to show for it. between 2 of us we caught 2 dink gills, a 3 inch perch, and about a 18 inch pike. had one flag go up but nothing on it. spent most of the day fishing in the 12 to 20 ft depth. i thought the guys riding the motor cycles on the ice were insane. had about 7-9 inches of ice, although i did find a spot of about 4 inches not sure why?? maybe premature but think i'll scratch this lake off the ice fishing list for now. i had that feeling when i saw the lack of people out there today.

Oh yea Sky Carp Killer was with us for a little while also. I blame both the weather and getting out a little late as to why we didn't catch anything. Did come up with a super secrete technique though!

I sat in the voyager on my nice seat which dubs as a recliner drinkin beer and nailin some slabs on the honey hole. So If you wanna head out there with billy and shane tomorrow hit me up......oh wait you will be at work... ehh that sucks buddy. hit us up when u get off work.
