any one ever ice fish this? I see tons of walley have been stocked in here, and I am thinking about trying to nab me a couple of them. The problem is, I don't have the first clue where to start:confused: are the gills/crappie any good in here? PM me if you have some advice to offer. I might head out there in the morning.........

I fished it before we had this warm up but didnt target the eyes like i should have if you go shot me a pm let me know how you do, would like to hit it again. didnt catch anything when i went but marked fish at the bottom. I was in about 25-40 ft of water.... good luck

made it out this morning, my legs are killing me from hauling out the sled full of stuff.......I stared on the launch side of the narrows in 22ft of water with a jigging rapala, caught 3 decent perch, then, believe it or not, I caught 6 catfish in a row........it was the wierdest darn thing I have ever seen, the old vexilar lit up like a christmas tree and ever time I stuck the jig down, they blasted it! all between 18 and 20", I put them all back cause I have no idea how to clean 'em. went further in the narrow and caught one dink gill........will be taking the quad next time!:evil:
