Brevoort Lake

Is there any public parking/access points for Brevoort Lake? also any directions with roaad names would be greatly appreciated!

Here is a link to a Brevoort Lake map. If you click on some of the locations/links on the map it will bring up more info. If you lok further in the MI Interactive site you should find more on the lake too! If you do a google search try using both spellings of Brevoort/Brevort. Good Luck!

After crossing the Mac bridge, continue north on I-75 and go to the Moran exit. Go west off the exit. You will drive about 6 to 7 miles maybe further. Watch for a gas station on the left side of the road. It's not your mega mart station just a small gas station. By the way, last time I was there they had bait and the man that runs the station was a wealth of information on where to fish. (They also have beer). The road next to the station runs right into the lake. The only public access open is on the left side of the road. There is another access site on the north end of the lake but it closes in the winter. You can walk in and if you do not have a snowmobile or 4 wheeler you might want to access the lake there if you are going to fish the north end. I will goole earth the area this afternoon to get the name of the road that goes to the access site. Good Luck.

Word is there is deep snow on the ice with some slushy spots. It's tough getting around on an ATV right now, so if you have a snowmobile I'd go with that. Good luck and please post a report if you make it up there.
