Hey guys do not really know where this should be posted, so move if need be!
Below is an email from a guy I have been donating product to for 3 years now. He was with another site like this in Illinois and something happened unsure? He now is doing http://www.icebenefit.com
It is tough to get traffic in a non profit website with little budget. Brent does actually hold a fishing tourney on ice with ALL proceeds going to charity in Illinois. Most of us cannot make the roadtrip, but for this cause we can send him a donation or a contact for more donations.
Cancer has hit 3 of my family members and a neighbor here recently and Brent is helpin the cure! Look at his stats!

Subject: 4thAnnual Charity Ice fishing Event
The last several years, I have organized ice fishing events to raise money for the American Cancer Society (ACS). What started as good intentions to raise money for a charity has turned into a gathering of folks that all want to help. As a result of three charity events, $9,000 was raised, 100% of which went to ACS, and this year we hope to double that along with our participants.
I initially became involved with fundraising due to a health crisis with a family member. We turned our emotion into effort and organized fundraising events so others won’t have to endure the same hardships.
At this time, I am planning the 4th Annual Charity Ice Fishing Event, which will be held on February 02, 2008, at Bangs Lake in Wauconda, Illinois. To aid in our fundraising, I am seeking your assistance for our auction, raffle, and fishing contest prizes which will be distributed to folks participating in our event. Raffle tickets will be sold, and items will be distributed the day of the event. With the addition of many prizes, I hope to increase attendance at this very worthwhile event.
Again, all proceeds from the event including entry fee, raffle ticket sales or other donations will be submitted to a cancer charity. This year proceeds will be going to the “Andrea Lynn Cancer Fund” non for profit charity. I hope that you will be able to assist our program with the donation which will be distributed the day of the event.
