Big and Little Whitefish Lake Ice?

Anybody have any info on the ice thickness for Big or Little Whitefish lake in Montcalm County. I've never fished either one and was thinking about giving one of them a try when I get the time. Like to get a mess of gills or perch. Thanks for any info.

I asked the same question a few days ago and didn't get a response... I have fished Big Whitefish though and did alright on pike and pretty good on perch in the summer.

Checked it last Sunday, and it was pretty shady looking. It was all covered but I would say that the Norhtern 2/3 of the lake looked wet/slushy.....

I would imagine it much improved since then.
