Slowly but surely the ice is getting thicker and the weather is staying below 0 at night.
Our ice is ranging from 5" to 7" in Cooks bay, the big part of the lake around Snake & Fox island is still limited to 3" to "5" and real spotty ice still not enough for me to take a chance I love to fish but I will wait until I can ride my bike out. We have about 3" to 4" of snow on the Ice in the South end of the bay which is slowing the ice making process down.
There is still lot's of great places to fish now and ride your bike to. If I make it out tommorow I will give another report and hopefully some pictures to back it.
Just remember to check with the locals before heading out and Play safe.
