Beer Swap/Morel hunt???

Similar to a "fly swap" I propose that those interested meet to swap beers during the Morel Mushroom season. We could all find a cheap hotel or camp on a two track somewhere and do some beer swapping/mushroom hunting. Obviously this would be around May so we would all have enough time to put a quick batch together. I say each man bring a case or two of a special batch just for this event.

Please reply with interest/lack there of to this thread. On Friday morning of this week, I will count the responses/interest level and go from their. Items such as drive time/lodging should also be mentioned.

I would be willing to drive within a 2 hr. radius or so of Kalamazoo to attend the event.

I may be interested if I can get a day or 2 away. I also have a possible place where we can all stay. My inlaws have a trailer in Baldwin. Nothing fancy by no means. No running water, but we make do with an outside pump. The trailer sleeps about 6 but tents/campers are welcome.

Figure out what weekend in May and I'll see what's cooking.

Great idea, I don't thing fancy is in this outdoorsman's/brewer's worries. Thinking weekend or two before Memorial Day weekend/m=Mothers day is usually ideal early morelskies!.

Can't do it on Mother's Day. Have to give Mom her due and my wife may get a bit pissed too. :lol:
