Does anyone know of a good place to stay on Burt lake. I am going to be fishing the maple bay area. Would like a small cabin if possible with access to the ice by quad. Also anyone know the fishing report for Burt?

unless you have alot of money to blow. I would trailer in everyday from a motel close. alanson has a nice motel fairly close to maple bay.

I agree with the cost of places to rent on Burt Lake. 4 of us plan on fishing up there on the weekend of the 25th-28th and the cheapest that we found was around $110/night. We are staying with friends.
Anybody have some GPS coordinates to the hot spots? We would like to target the perch and walleyes.

110 a night for 4 guys. that sounds pretty cheap. i looked all over up there this summer and all the cabins were about 900/week and i couldn't take my lab to none of them
I don't know of to many places that allow pets. Have you fished the lake? If so, where is the best place to start?

I agree with the comment to stay in Alanson or some where off the lake and then to trailer to the lake. I couldn't tell you what it costs... I just stay at my folk's house when I head up. Maple bay is a good spot to start for the perch AND walleye. Avoid the big group's of people.
