What a happy surprise to find nothing but clean water everywhere this morning! http://skunked.ca/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif Launched at 7:30 at City in WIndsor. Once I got out the hole was crystal clear so i dropped leads in the water and pulled wire there for about an hour and didn't even have a tap. So I pulled lines and headed to the Delphine. Within 5 minutes I felt the tug. http://skunked.ca/images/smiles/icon_twisted.gif Proceeded to flip a nice eater walleye over the side of the boat. http://skunked.ca/images/smiles/icon_cool.gif Fished around the channel for about another hour to no avail. The wind started whipping up almost as soon as I got there so boat control was tough. I guess if I went there right off the hop I probably would have caught more fish. They are there. I marked quite a few of them. Right in the channel. I caught mine in 20FOW about halfway out to the shipping channel. Water temp was 35 degrees.

Hope you're not referring to anything we saw last Saturday Chris. US side is pathetic for limits of slob perch. Good hangin' with you.

Derek - anxiously awaiting, getting over there to try out that new Skeeter!
We are in flood conditions here on this side of the state! Less than a half of an inch of visibility.

Found the lure! Matzuao Nano Minnow. It's been a very productive lure for me this year and I couldn't remember where I got it or what it was called. Hitting it tomorrow night forsure. 3mph winds tomorrow night. I can't wait!
