Houghton lake

Anybody been out on Houghton lake recently. Hows the ice holding up? Fishing?

I found a nice web cam on houghton with a good shoreline shot that I use to check on ice conditions while im at work :lol:.

That web cam is cool living two hours from Houghton is tough sometimes when trying to plan a trip there. The cam will be very helpful for us in the future. Thanks for the site.

I was fishing there last week--And the shoreline is fine in most areas still, even after the warmup.

the area around denton creek is open. I live on the north side,where I fish the shore ice is rotten at the acess. There was 6 to 8 cars there every night since the warm up not 1. I will post a pic later
