Ice in Deerfield Park or Lake George

Was wondering if anyone has fished in Deerfield Park or on Lake George in Clare County. I want to do some Pike Spearing tomorrow 1-10-08. Is their enough ice??

I was out last night and this morning at deerfield park theres about 2 foot of open water around the edges but once you get over that theres 6-8 inches out there.

Plenty to hold a small portable shanty then?

More than enough, there is a big homemade shanty sitting one the ice right now.
