I just discovered this part of the forum. Cool.

The local store where I used to buy my home brew supplies quit selling the stuff, so I havn't made any in a couple years. My favorite beer was Muntons Nut Brown Ale. I found it for sale on some Internet websites. One was Austinhomebrew.com and another was Liquidhobby.com

Has anybody ordered from them or have other recomendadations on where to order supplies?

Thanks.

Two I have used with no complaints:

www.grapeandgranary

www.grapestompers.com

www.northernbrewer.com

I stick local as much as I can, but if there is not a local place, you gotta get the fix in! GrapeStompers has been the best for me, I really like talking with those southern folk, they are a lot of fun and really work hard to make sure everything is just right.

I’ve ordered from both Austin Home Brew and Northern Brewer both have good service and products.

Here is a list of homebrew supply stores (HBS) in Michigan http://www.michiganbeerguide.com/homebrew.asp?page=Homebrew%20Shops/Stores%20That%20Sell%20Homebrew%20Supplies

I prefer shopping at a HBS whenever possible simply because you can chat with the owner and get advice.
