BTW, was anyone out Sunday or Monday and get a temp? I heard the PM made it all the way into the low 40's and from I just read here the Grand was at about 38.

I check this often during high water (for the Grand...updated for the Joe)...they will update it as things change.

It will probably suck for a while till the blow outs over but we needed it. The last couple weeks have been dismal and now there's a bright spot on the horizon for January.

WOW!!! 15,000 and still rising. Head for the hills; or batten the hatches. This is why nobody should build a house in a flood zone. That isn't too cold to fish in, but it sure would be cold in your house, after it flooded your furnace into submission.

You better do something, cuz meanwhile the man with the crippled right hand recently popped more chrome in one day than Mr "if you want to catch some fish on Sunday" has all fall/winter. Hehehehehehehehehehe :evilsmile

 Even a blind squirrel finds a nut or two. Its a good thing that I wasn't there because you are 0-0 so far during our outings.

I am finally getting out of the fog and the funk and hitting some water. And how many did you catch on New Years Eve? Or the "prior to hand-crushing" trip to the K-zoo? Sadly, you have netted "all" of the steelhead I have landed this season. Anyway, time to leave the marital problems at home and get out there!;)

Sadly enough I even took him for a "boat ride" since he couldn't get one into the net that day.

Then again.....neither could I. :)

Looks like it peaked around 18,100 at Niles; which means it is even heavier at Berrien. Not boating water for most people, right now; and definitely not for wading. Holy blasting current!

Yes-it's impressive (and needed). I've been in South Bend the last couple days and it's up a tad:SHOCKED:, I can only imagine what it looks like in Berrien Springs.

The lake I live on is higher than it ever gets in the spring and the creek I grew up on is probably in the top ten for how high it is in my 30 years of seeing it.

The river from bs down is pretty amazing. I just spent the last two hours driving around to various locations and its still comming up:yikes:. The Berrien County Sportsman club might have a few campers and boats floating away if they dont get them out of there. I had to turn around numerous times due to water over the road. Are the steelies still comming up now or are they sittin still till it goes down a bit? I saw something that cracked me up too, two guys standing in the grage with waders on drinking a few cold ones with about two feet of water in the grage:lol:. If you have a chance get out and check it out. btw their exspectingit to crest tomorrow at 7pm.
