I hate to say, but it was only a matter of time. Everytime I was in there there was never any good help and it was never that busy.

It's too bad though because that is the only outdoor place by my house.

Good night people...Gander isn't shutting down as a company. They are just closing the Pontiac location. Utica was newly remodeled within the past couple of years, Novi and Flint not 4 years old in there new locations. The company is just closing the Pontiac store in Michigan. Rumors, rumors...always entertaining

actually i bought my new 870 sp cant barrel laminate thumbhole stock at gander and nobody else could come within $100 of what i got it for and they were very helpful for a change

FYI.....all sales are final at Pontiac!!!


I wanted to return some Leupold Scope rings because I purchased the wrong type(My bad).

They would "perform" a exchange but that's it...no refund no matter how many salespeople/mgrs I spoke with..as luck would have it they didn't have the rings I needed. So they had me go to Novi where they did have them....lost the 20% discount...oh well....it was my mistake to purchase the wrong ones in the first place.

dont bother going looking for any deals on fishing tackle or ammo. was there yesterday and there were other gander mountain store employees there buying up everything. had carts full just taking items hooks and all.

Dude are u kidding me i just got back ,from gm in pontaic and fellas let me tell ya there all kinds of deals!!!!yeah there going quick,but camo clothes,rods,every thing is 50% off i spent 160.00 and got over 300. worth of gear.mine is mostly fishing too.but hurry stuff is literlly flying off the shelves....
