Sunday Metro report

I saw a lot of people standing around out there, so I stayed outside the pack and was catching fish. Mostly dinks at first in close off the day sail. I later moved beyond the pack and started to catch some nice perch. I ended up with 66, but only 15 keepers. 8'' or better. A few 9's, a few 10's and 1 11''. It was nice to see some decent fish. Big ones were hittin minnows. It's too bad the weather is gonna turn to crap:(. The ice was 6'', but didn't look so good in a few spots. I fished from 10am-4:30pm which was way too long. My back is paying for it.

anybody else have any luck out there? OH.....and if you're gonna say you caught some keepers PLEASE only count the fish 8'' or better. The dinks I don't care about. Thanx.

Yea i was out their... i was strait out just in and a little out side the pack... didnt do to bad ended up with almost 25 keepers..... not too many throw backs... one hog but that about it... was nice to get out befor the ice was really bad..

good job out there DFH. I see at the bottom of your post you say........times through the ice 1 1/2 times. Where did you go in at?

On south river road off of archer and north river off the belvider canal only 1 leg went in their... im glad i didn't completely fall of the ladder lol

o i got one and i always use it but i really really wanted to go fishin so lol but i kno the canals up and down so
