Fished some canals south of Brandeburg park today. Slow as heck. Didn't get out until 10, which was not the best time. Only fished 3 hours or so. Caught one small rock bass on mousies and had a few more hits on that set up. Nothing on minnows or waxworms. Buddy caught one 10 inch perch and that was it. It just nice getting out there and trying out the new Trap Guide shanty. That thing is going to be sweet to use! Can't wait for some REAL ice!
