My brother inlaw had a deer dropped off to him today and wanted to get it processed. The guy I usually use is closed for the year. Is there anyone is South East Michigan still processing deer. He lives in Wayne/Westland area. Thanks, I would had to see the deer go to waste.

Perfect Time to learn how to do it yourself. Thats the best way anyways.

Do a net search and you will find sites that will take you step by step.
Its really not that hard. You will get a sense of satisfaction knowing you did it yourself.

Each one will get easier and by the end of next season people will ask you to do theirs!;)

Saves Money too!! DO IT!!

i hope he has the validated kill tag for it to! lots of butcher shops around him that do it but it'll cost some bucks. i watched a guy cut up a deer 40 years ago :idea:and since that day have cut up every single deer i put down and my friends to.:corkysm55 i know what i'am getting and i know what others aren't.:yikes: like it was said nows a great time to learn. for a begginer a sharp knife and a stone plus one bone saw, siran wrap, get the meat grinder later butchershops will do that. for a couple of hours work and the PRIDE of doing it yourself PRICELESS.:coolgleam

Yes it has a valid tag on it. It was taken on private land on New Years Day and was dropped off today. Like I said it is not for me and it was pretty frozen.

I learned from my grandpa and dad. Then worked at a meat market and did processing. Now i just do my own and some buddies. A lot of processors don't give a **** if you have a tag or not. i know a few and helped out in some also.
