Canal South of 10 mile Rd

Has anyone been fishing the canal around Lange Street south of 10 mile? Thinking of trying it in the morning.

I was thinking about hitting it tomorrow. I heard the ice was good, not sure on the catch

fished it last saturday and monday. me and a buddy got 30 decent keepers to 10"s saturday. fished it by myself monday and caught 5 dinks. the fish move through there quikly and dont' hang around for very long. If you're there at the right time you can do OK..if the wrong time , pretty piss poor. Plenty of ice..but was open near seawall. I moved constantly.

That horseshoe canal has been off my list. The fish glow in the dark there. seeya

Sure hope they got all that PBB on the second try. I used to play around that canal as a kid, my buddies grandma lived right on the corner where it was found, that storm sewer under West Marines property. Smelliest bottom of any canal I knew of. We used to get perch near the mouth of those canals.
