I heard that the Gander Mountain in Pontiac is going out of business. Most everything is at least 20% off and some stuff is as much as 70% off. Just thought I would share the news.:)

I'm not happy, I live about 2 miles from there.:(

the pontiac store is goin out of business then it's going to be turned into a gander clearance center.....all the other gander stores are sending alot of there clearance stuff to pontiac....

Yeah...what Ken said. I'm a Gander Mtn associate and the Pontiac store is closing. This was kept under wraps pretty well until after the holidays. After 7 years with the company, I just heard about this yesterday for the first time. The stores location hasn't been the best and with the close proximity of Novi, Taylor, Utica and Flint, there hasn't been much of a need for this store for awhile. The liquidation started yesterday, 02 Jan 08, and will end either when everything is gone or 01 Mar 08. Check em out...never know when you could land a sweet deal on closeout merch! Hoping to swing by there myself before the end.
