Man, Not a welcome sight after a day of fishing. Maybe I'll think twice about parking on the ice next time!

Judging from yesterday's sat. pics, theres still lots of open water there. But Nippising is frozen solid.

Never trust those reports up there, Most Canadians dont start ice fishing until there is at least 12" of ice, and the lake is covered. They are Affraid up there or something.....Sissy Boys......:yikes:

Many years ago, there was an empty lot where the public access at the end of Hall Rd. is now. One day I drove out there to find 30 or more cars parked on the ice with water up to their door sils. As word got out, a few cars pulled off the ice & the ice slowly came back up. A half hour later new fisherman showed up & saw the parking spots out on the lake & sure enough the ice went back down after they parked & went fishing. By the end of the day some of the fisherman came in & never knew how close their cars came to getting water in them. WW

It was supposed to say fishable ice Chris, so my typing sucks:lol:.. I grew up on anchor bay driving a dune buggy all over the lake but when it came to parking when I went fishing never park in the crowd to much weigh in one location, it dont take a ferris grad to figure that one does it chris:lol:..
