FRS / GMRS channel ?

Anyone still utilizing the FRS/GMRS radios out on the ice ?
If so, what seems to be the popular channel to make initial contact ? I know last year on the Bay we used channel 7, sub-code 0 (7-0) quite often. Anyone else, great way to hook up together and stay in contact, not to mention call for help in a situation possibly.

I always thought of channel 7-0 as the MS.com channel, but that's what we always use too.

Not hard to figure, go to "Google Maps". At the search box, enter in the coordinates and press enter. Viola ! (just my residence location now) ;)

I never thought about that. I was just playing around with my new Lowrance i finder . The address i came up with is 22163 Gratiot. How close was that.
