Late season doe w/pic.

Last night at 5:10pm in Crawford County (Late firearm anterless season). I only had about 5 seconds to pick up my rifle, aim and fire as she walked through the narrow shooting lane. 97 yard heart shot and she only went another 20 yards. Two in the freezer for this year....Tasty!

Hey everyone, thanks for the kind words.

Just as a follow-up, I took her into the DNR and they aged her at 5 1/2 years old. My oldest thus far! :)

I was pretty happy considering all the State land nearby and heavy snow winters up there.
