Lets see if this pic thing works......but anyhow....had a doe and 2 fawns come off the golf course at about 4:30......they ran up to the top of a big hill in the middle of the large field......just about that time my aunt and uncle decided to leave my Dads and scared them back into the woods......nothing else happened till about 5:25....i look out the blind and see a doe and fawn come out of the corn field across the road and start heading my way......with light fading i get the gun ready.......they are at about 200 yrds and gonna cross in front of me at about 150 yrds.....the cross the drainage ditch and come in front of the blind and stop......152 yrd......i have my Knight .50 cal. sighted in at 100 yds and know i get about 6 inches drop at 150.......i put the cross hairs about 2 inches below the top of her back...turn the power up to 9x on the scope and settle down for a shot......i pull the trigger and as the smoke clears watch both deer run to the back of the property.......about 300 yds away from the blind...they stop and stand there......i am thinking i missed .....i check my watch and it is 5:36.......just at the end of legal shooting time......i look back up and only the fawn is standing there....I dont see the doe anywhere......now im starting to think i hit her......i mark out every detail in my mind where the fawn is standing and sneak up to the house.....this morning i walk right to where i seen em standing and there she is......perfect double lunger.....i love it when a plan comes together.....
