As some know, I have a friend that has been very sick for the last few years. She spent a good part of the summer at the Mayo Clinic and even being at one of the best Hospitals available they were never quit able to pin point what was making her so bad. Other then she had something attakcing her central nervous system and this caused a lot of pain.
She spent the best part of the last 4 years in bed due to the pain she was having.

She started taking steriods 6-8months ago at the request of numerous Mayo Clinic Drs and they were helping her she was really coming around getting back to her normal HAPPY LOVING SELF doing so much better, she was able to actually get up and get out of the house a few days of the week. Not to mention do the things we all take for granite, drive to the store, visit friends take her son to Basketball, cook dinner, clean house, raise her son etc....

On Friday Decmber 28 at 7:30 in the moring I had asked her son to go in to her room and ask her were her keys were because I had told her that I would go get her son's b-day present for her that morning. YES Dec 28th was his 13th b-day

He yelled at me from her room and said that something was wrong, she was laying on the floor......As I ran into the room all I had to do was take one look and I knew exactly why he could not wake her. I did what any normal person would do sent her son across the street to get a neighbor
(he did not know at this point what he had found that morning) as I called 911 and prayed to GOD That I was wrong in my thoughts I knelt
down next to my best friend and prayed again that I would be able to find some kind of pulse or even some slight movement in her chest, he did not answer my prayers.....she was Ice Cold when I felt her and no pulse.

My best friend of 20 years had passed away apx 3:30 in the morning. I know that she is in a better place and I thank God that I was here for her and her son. She talked me into taking a vacation day from work so that
We could do something special for her son on his B-day. I was meant to be here and I again am so THANK FUL that I was !!!!!

I am requesting that prayers go out to her family and many friends but especially her son who turned 13 on the day that he lost his mother.

She had requested that her body be donated to U of M hopspital so that they could better study the disease that she had in hopes that she would be able to help if not 100s at least 1 other person out there that may have the same problems.

May God Bless her and keep that second set of footprints next to her son !

RIP C.....I will miss all of the fun and laughter we have shared for years !!!!

All so very much for the prayers and condolences.

She has been sick and in pain for awhile, I think we all knew it was coming but just not this soon.

It is great to have friends here to be able to turn to!!!!

Happy and Safe New Years to all of the wonderful MS members !!!!

She lived in Whitmore Lake so if anyone from this area would like to know more info PM., I know that she had numerous friends around here, we did our best to reach everyone but I am sure some may have been missed.

God Bless us all

My deepest sympathies for you and her family. I send a prayer for her son, as it is hard to cope with the loss of a parent.
