Has anybody used these to keep minnows alive?

I thought about trying these instead of my battery powered aeorator that I use with a small cooler. I hate listening to the pump run.

I have used them, and I still have a few of them kicking around. They are OK, but they take a back seat to the pump type.

While not a bubbling system I have to say that the blue crystals that can be added to live wells and to minnow buckets really seem to work.
