I'm heading up I-75 from Ohio in the morning,it's the only three days I'll have to fish with my son this year.no ice here.Don't know where the hell to go.Mainly panfish.
Any help up there

go to Cadillac or Mitchell, Was up there thursday and had some decent ice still...Lots of gills on Mitchell if you can get on it try the big cove!!

If wanting to head farther go to UP or something!

Well you didnt say exactly where your head as to how far north?You want panfish I think there still might be good ice by the raft access on lsc.If there is maybe one of kind friendly members might want to help this gentleman out.If your going further north theres many more options for safer ice and lake Hamlin by Ludington would be a good choice.

Try Fletchers, its between gaylord and alpena, not sure how far you want to go, but they have 8 inches there with plenty of panfish and northern action.
