There will be few empty places during the holidays this year for my family. I know that there are many others out there who like me have lost loved ones. Sometimes this time of year can be pretty tough when you miss folks. I always say a few prayers this time of year for all of you who've lost friends and loved ones.

Personally, I take a lot of comfort remembering that this time of year we are celebrating the day that signaled start of God's plan to take away the sting of death, and the victory of the grave.

Yes, we definitely miss the friends and loved ones at all times of the year, but just consider what kind of a Christmas they must be enjoying right now! So many times I miss my brother, but we talked about this before his death. He knew his days were numbered but faced it like a man, a much better man than I, and he knew where he was going. Rest in peace Jerry.

This is the hardest time for me, as I just cannot seem to get my head right. The holidays will just not be the same for me, but I relize that Christmas is more then just a day. I keep my love for Jesus close to me today and all days. I need him at this time more then ever.

I wish all a merry Christmas.

Well said guys, the greatist gift ever given has been given to us, and thats
why we can go on and hang on even through the most difficult of situations
my prayer is not only for you but for all those who do not know Jesus Christ
may he instill in them his saving Grace. It's true he's ALIVE.
