I'm going up to to a friends cottage on Intermediate Lake in Bellaire a week after the new year. Does anybody have any information in ice fishing the lake? We would like to get a few tugs on the line. Any spots, bait, lures, depth? I saw some stuff on the sunken islands, anybody have more information.
I'll post our results or lack of...

I fish that area a lot in the summer. Intermediate has a little bit of everything, but I usually do best for pan fish further up the chain, i.e., Hanley Lake has decent gills/crappies. Other spots up the chain also hold nice panfish in the spring/summer.....not sure about the winter fishing.
Let us know how you do.
