Original Clown Raps - who needs some???

I stopped into Anglers in St. Clair today and seen a few F-11 Original Clown Rapalas hanging on their rack. According to Don (the owner) he has about (20) F-11's and around (9) F-13's in stock. If you don't see them on the rack, just ask for them. Good luck! BTW...they're open until 4 pm tomorrow (x-mas eve).

F.Y.I. - The F-11's were priced at $8.99 ea.

They were a great lure, but you are out of luck they discontinued them 2 years ag dude.

Clown raps are way over rated at least for me.I very seldom catch fish on that color.I have a bunch of them just to have them because I collect lures.They are a pretty color though and they are eye catchy no pun intended there.Also since they are no longer made Im kinda afraid to use them in fear it will get lost.:yikes:

Luckly when Cabela's was closing them out I picked up a bunch for $2.99 each. :D

If you cant find them where WalleyeVision says to get them,make a trip up the thumb area.Many bait stores in that area still have some laying around.Also if your up north check some of the local baitshops your likely to find some.Thats how I got lucky I found huge stashes of them and bought all of them.:D

That's how I found mine too Aaron, but on the West side of the state. ;)

May have to come and see ya there Slick. Folks live off McKinley and 32, and it seems I don't have ANY clowns in my box. Might look you up this coming week.

The book i was looking in had them in every size and style they make. I will have to recheck the book and maybe call them and see if they still have them.
I have not found a wholesaler or distributor who has the Clown pattern available in the Original/Floater model. They are still listed in the catalogs these distributors have but not available. They have not been listed on the Rapala web site in Original/Floater for two years.

The color pattern is available in other all plastic models it seems.
