If it wasn't for bad luck........
I drove 500 miles to fish on good ice. Arrived to my hotel at 2 PM, hit the bait shop and then headed out to the ice. One hit no fish. Next morning thick fog light rain. Fished all morning with no luck. Made another trip to the bait shop, got good advice on area and depth to try and that evening it was game on. Now I know the LBDN jigging technique, good fishing location and proper depth. Escanaba sets a record high temperature, it rains all night and the wind is blowing like crazy come morning. I dive out to LBDN and see shanties gliding at a very high rate of speed across the ice, the area I walked in and out of last night is now open water. Looks like I'm cutting this trip short, if I don't get snowed in I will leave in the AM........

Focus is off due to wind blowing me around...
