Thursday we fished mitchell and only caught 3 small pike and a couple keeper gills and one keeperish crappie.... and that was it.
Friday we fished cadillac and we caught 1 keeper pike and 6 keeper perch and quiet a few non keeper perch......
we were fishing for anything that would bite so it was nice to catch some fish..... saw a local come off of Mitchell with i believe 12 crappie or so and saw some guys on cadillac keep about 5 good size pike....
looked to be 4-6 inches of good solid ice with about 2 inches of so so ice.... there was people driving snowmobiles around the edges of the lake... not sure i saw any out in the middle and did see a few quads on the ice.
they said the fish had been biting better than what they were now.... isnt that how it always is?
