View Full Version : Our annual ice fishing trip needs ....

new water!!! We are about 20 guys who get together every year. We have fished Houghton, Cadilac, Mitchell, & Hamlin. This year we'd like to try something different; maybe a smaller lake or Sag. Bay. Can anyone share with us where we might be able to find good lodging on a smaller lake in northern MI.? We'd like to avoid shoving 20-25 guys into 5 small cabins unless there is a main lodge to meet at. Any ideas ?!?!

Fletchers Pond - Jacks Landing.....real cool place.....the bar gets a little outta control, though! :D

When is it? You could try muskegon if it ever get cold enough to freeze it.

Agreed. Good fishing, and from what I hear, good accomodations.

manistique lakes in the UP. theres some good lodging there.

YEA JACKS IS COOL
BUT TRY LEWISTON MI WE HAVE THE TWIN LKS (WALLY'S CRAPPIES PIKE GILLS PERCH ECT. ) PLUS THERE ARE SEVERAL OTHER LAKES WITH IN A 10 MINUTE DRIVE !! AND THE REDWOOD INN IS AN NICE PLACE TO STAY WITH POOL & HOT TUB AND FOOD & DRINKS NEXT DOOR (WAlking Dist. ) less than 100 yrds!! private msg me for more info!! and then we have the famous Talleys bar ! (known for their burger!& kool place to party)


OH! OH! OH! and the best part is I would be able to meet and make some new friends!!! LOL

ALSO LEWISTON LODGE IS LOCATED RIGHT ON EAST TWIN WITH A BAR & RESTAURANT (DAMM GOOD FOOD HERE) !!!
