Everytime I try to upload a pic, it tells me my pic file is too large and it exceeds the limit. How can I shrink my pic size?

This is a reply from kbkrause on the subject

Install the Image Resizer. You can right mouse click any image and resize it very easily. Comes in handy for posting on the web.

I too am having great difficulty in coming up with a size that this site will accept. The pictures i am mainly worried about are the ones that are next to your name in your posts such as you and your fish. This is the step that i am not able to complete. If you could please let us know how you performed this magic please share :dizzy: Thanks in advance

All kinds of threads on the subject of resizing photos down in the "Digital Photo" forum which is right under this one.

Shrinking a photo down to the right size for an "avatar" is just like shrinking it down for uploading to the photo-gallery; just that the end result is a much smaller photo.

So, check out the digital photo forum. The option to resize any photo should be found in any and all image editing programs. Resize the photo and save under a new name. Never save the resized image under the old name.
