I fished from 11-3 today and managed a nice limit of 8-10" crappie. I would post some pictures but all I had with me was my camera phone. The lake I was on had a good 5" of ice and it seemed to be holding up well. This weekends weather should be interesting but I have my fingers crossed. It looks like things are supposed to cool down after saturday.

Made it out Saturday. I never seen anyone work as hard as Browning13 for some fish. I was out with three buddies. Not alot of action, but did manage a few eatten size fish. Ice was sloppy wet by noon. Good thing is we did not get the heavy rains, snow came late and its a blowing powder snow.

yea it was some tough fishing out there yesterday. I walked clear across that lake checking some other spots but never marked a thing. I ended up fishing where I started and stayed until dark. The bite turned on at dusk and I managed a limit of mostly specs. The ice was getting pretty sloppy when I left but was still a good 4". I'm planning on fishing somewhere tommorrow. I might head a little farther north and try long lake or something else in the area. I'll post a report on the ice conditions when I get back.
