howell area ice?

Anyone know the ice conditions for lake chemung or woodland lake?

Chemung 2-3 inches of white ice in some spots and the west side is completely thawed, we need cold, bad. I fished there yesterday morning 40 yrds from launch, but i believe I will wait for another cold spell before venturing out again. I know a guy who has fished it for two weeks but he sits on an inch of ice and moves as it sinks. Ewwwww:dizzy:

i stopped in at midwest yesterday and the guys said that all the little lakes are solid. woodland is solid but chemung is still open on the west end which i have seen for myself

Drove by the Chemung boat launch today & there were a few small groups out there. Deep west end has only skim ice.
